Five Favorite Sites for a Fashionable Fall
I’ve had fashion and makeup on the brain lately, as I’ve been packing for our trip to Boston with highs in the upper 60s. Today I’m giving you my favorite, stylish links for fall.
Favorite sites for a fashionable fall
Birchbox
I’m such a fool (pardon the Cranberries reference) for personalized subscription boxes. This fall, I’m trying out Birchbox because, gosh, their marketing is pretty, and who doesn’t love receiving high-end makeup at a drugstore price each month?
And right now, through October 9th, if you use my referral link to subscribe for the first time, we both get $5 off our monthly box, making each of our boxes cost a whole $5.
Speaking of personalized subscription boxes, I just can’t stop pinning fall fashion to my Pinterest Style & Beauty board for my Stitch Fix stylist!
Follow Lauren Flake {For the Love of Dixie}’s board Style & Beauty on Pinterest.
Side note: Did you know you can make maps with Pinterest now? I did this last year with my Central Texas date night and weekend ideas, and this feature ended up coming in handy in creating a guide for my launch team ladies who took over Austin and Buda earlier this month. Now, I’m using a Pinterest map for our tour de Boston. It’s fantastic.
Polyvore
I’m really into Polyvore as a creative outlet again lately. Curating themed sets is just too much fun, and there’s something about changing seasons that always reignites my interest in fashion and home decor.
Here’s a fall wishlist set I made for an upcoming blog post:
Teespring
So, I have some shirts for sale on Teespring. Maybe you’ve heard of them?
I walked into Summermoon Coffee in Buda earlier this week and was asked by a patron, “Are you the ‘Dixie shirts’ girl?”
Yes, yes, I am. I love that she phrased her question that way because it proves that my mom’s legacy lives on in my fundraising efforts. It’s not about my trendy Texas design, it’s about my Texas-loving momma.
The ever popular #texasstrong fundraiser for flood relief has now evolved, with different colored logos to support awareness, research and resources for different causes, including purple for Alzheimer’s disease and red for heart disease (and long sleeve tees and hoodies). Stay tuned because pink for breast cancer is coming this week!
Zulily
I’ve already started Christmas shopping, y’all.
I know, it’s a bit ridiculous but I know that the more I procrastinate, the more I will stress about finding the perfect gift for each sweet person on my list. In recent years, I have done the bulk of my Christmas shopping online at Amazon, Target and Zulily. I’ll admit, it’s a bit hit or miss, but when I do find something good on Zulily, it’s always a pretty great deal.
And they have tons of name brand stuff for kiddos–even collegiate stuff! My little Aggie heart can’t get enough. (If you use my referral link to place an order, I get a $15 credit to fuel my addiction.)

I loved Birch Box! Pinterest is a tab that’s quite often open for me as well 🙂
I am a fashion fool. As in, I am sitting in Starbucks wearing my Bama shirt and yoga pants right now (it is game day so the Bama shirt has some context). I will follow your fashionable lead and hit some of these sites. Most are new to me–because of my fashion foolishness. Thanks for linking up! #FridayFive
