2015 Gift Guide for Him

My husband is the absolute most difficult person to shop for on my Christmas list. Gifts are not his love language, and, although he is generally very laid back, he is extremely particular about things like clothing.

Hence, my first annual gift guide for him was a bit of a challenge. I’ve tried to provide ideas for each guy on your list–the beer enthusiast, the runner, the literature lover, the sports fan and the professional.

2015 Gift Guide for Him

  • Beer tasting glasses and gear

  • For the hops fanatic, tasting glasses and rating cards fit the bill. You could even throw in a sampler pack of specialty beers (think World Market) or a weekend trip to a local brewery.
  • Fitness tracker and water bottle

  • If he’s the athletic type, a FitBit is probably on his wishlist. And a sturdy, easy to carry water bottle makes a great stocking stuffer.
  • E-reader or tablet

  • If your guy’s a reader, he’s sure to appreciate an Amazon Kindle or reasonably priced tablet.
  • Tickets for an event

  • A card filled with tickets to an upcoming game for his favorite team (on a weekend you know he’s free) or, for your hubby, date night gift cards for the movie theater and his favorite restaurant (plus a scheduled babysitter) is sure to please.
  • Raw shea butter

  • My husband gets dry, cracked elbows in the winter and hates fragranced lotions so I like putting raw, unscented shea butter in his stocking each year.
  • Padfolio

  • I’ve had my eye on this black leather “Blessed Is the man who makes the Lord his trust” padfolio from Dayspring* for a while now. I love its message from Psalm 40:4 and masculine look for the executive guy on your list.
