2015 Holiday Gift Guide for Preschoolers
Two, feisty and opinionated little women live with us. You could call them preschoolers–our youngest turns 2 this week so I guess she’s not really a toddler anymore. As their mom, I’m in charge of choosing their Christmas gifts. Or, at least, I’m in charge of giving the grandparents some clues about gifts for them.
Hence, I’m sharing with you my first annual gift guide for preschoolers. (My oldest daughter helped with this.) I tried to cover the bases–something they want, something they need, something they can wear, something they can read.
2015 Holiday Gift Guide for Preschoolers
Educational games
We were introduced to Educational Insights’ games like Sneaky, Snacky Squirrel and Shelby’s Snack Shack this fall through my daughters’ preschool. They are phenomenal for building early math skills.
Stylish outerwear
My girls love playing outside on our deck, even if it’s freezing cold or misting rain. So rain boots and warm hats are basically a necessity at our house. This super cute hat and boots combo is from Target.
Educational books
If you haven’t experienced Usborne Books yet, you simply must. Their high quality books are available for every age group and interest. Can’t get enough of these!
Toys
When I polled my Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) mommas, Magna-tiles came out on top. This is on our Christmas wish list for sure. I also love Hallmark‘s itty bittys plush characters,, from favorite Disney movies and more, for super soft stocking stuffers. They even have a precious itty bittys plush Nativity set this year!
Whimsical bookends
My daughter has the cutest Pottery Barn Kids owl bookends to corral her favorite reads. This adorable dino and lion pair is from Domino and Layla Grace.
Toy storage
Tired of adding to the toy surplus problem? How about gifting toy storage instead of toys this year? This wire basket is from Pottery Barn Kids, and the fun canvas bin is from Nordstrom.
What would you add to this list?
