Why My 3rd Annual Favorite Things Birthday Giveaway is the Best Yet
Update (4-22-16): The winners are.... Darla - Signed copy of Where Did My Sweet Grandma Go? Darcie J. - Create Hope Cuffs "love of dixie" mockingbird bracelet Becky R. - Lavish Leathers braided aqua earrings
Why are giveaways so darn much fun? Getting to gift my readers with my favorite goodies is seriously one of my favorite things about blogging.
Why my 3rd annual favorite things birthday giveaway is the best yet
My annual birthday giveaway just keeps getting better, and this year I’ve teamed up with a few talented friends who make handcrafted jewelry to offer THREE different giveaway prizes for three lovely readers:
Braided Aqua earrings from Lavish Leathers
First up for grabs is a pair of Lavish Leathers medium jewel earrings in Braided Aqua.
I met Amber and Sienna, the sisters behind this handcrafted, local jewelry line, at a custom LLs party last month, and I just can’t get enough! Their earrings are elegant but somehow cowgirl-worthy at the same time–a win in my book.
Whoever wins will be my earring twinkie but since I’ve had so many compliments on these, I thought I needed to share the love 🙂
Leather loveofdixie bracelet from Create Hope Cuffs
Second up is a handcrafted loveofdixie mockingbird cuff made from repurposed chap leather by my For the Love launch team sister in Minnesota–Danielle Brower at Create Hope Cuffs.
My dear friend Danielle created these custom bracelets a few weeks ago, in celebration of my book launch, with all proceeds benefiting Alzheimer’s Texas.
(The giveaway does not include the mint leather ‘it is well’ bracelet she made for me a few months ago, but you can order similar cuffs or your own custom creation in her Etsy shop.)
Autographed copy of ‘Sweet Grandma’ book
And last, but certainly not least, is a signed copy of my debut children’s book, Where Did My Sweet Grandma Go?: A Preschooler’s Guide to Losing A Loved One, which released last month.
In all honesty, I’m pretty thrilled that I have a real, live published book to offer as a birthday giveaway prize this year. Some days, I still can’t believe that I’m an author. I hope this book will help bring comfort to young children and parents alike, during difficult times of grief and loss.
